I may have had too high of expectations before my visit.

I was not overly impressed with Ruth's Chris.
It wasn't bad, but I was expecting a fine cut of meat that's served with little (or no) seasoning.
The sides were exceptional, but I didn't come for the sides!
The service from the staff is top notch. Your cup will not be less than half full anytime.
I'm glad went have experienced Ruth's Chris at least once and don't let my comments deter you.
But, at least you'll know what to expect
I came here with my boyfriend for our 2 year anniversary. Our waiter was good, not much personality and i donāt remember his name. I ordered the prefix menu with the filet and lobster tail; my lobster was barely warm when it came so i sent it back and they brought me a hot new one! the lobster bisque was a bit too salty compared to the bisques iāve had in the past. the oreo chocolate cheesecake is really delicious. I enjoyed the atmosphere until they sat a family right next to us with a toddler that cried for almost 20 minutes. the crying didnāt bother me since i love kids, but i am sure someone with less patience would have been very bothered. Overall it was a very memorable night and we will probably return for future anniversaries!
Seated ourselves in bar area. Seared Ahi was good, Filet was really good, truffle topping was the bomb. Brussels sprouts about the best I've had. Service was ehhhhh......but we were in the bar area.
I went for my boys' 1st birthday š. My steak was well cooked, but the shrimp was overcooked. Amazing service š but took too long for the food so we had to take our dessert šØ to go. It was way past bedtime.

We got complimentary bread pudding for his birthday and itās so goooood!
Our server was incredible! He showed patience and knowledge of the menu. When we return we will ask for Isaac and you should too!

This place was nice and we definitely enjoyed the serviceā¦ our food was delicious but I actually have had better quality steak elsewhere for more affordable pricesā¦ thatās not saying this place wasnāt great, we had no complaints and will return next year and do recommend to anyone who wants to spend a lot on food !!
My go to steakhouse in Nashville anytime I have someone in town because the atmosphere is quiet. They donāt disappoint me. From the hosts, to the servers, to the serviceā¦ all 10/10. My meals are always exquisite no complaints ever. Thank you to the Nashville Ruth Chris team.
